Cynthia Cooper, born in Massena, NY on December 24, 1947, daughter of John and Salome Brownell. She was the sister of Helen Harper, Robert Brownell, Theresa McGowan and Elizabeth Shea.Cynthia graduated from Holy Family High School in 1966, Powelson Business Institute (Bryant & Stratton Business College) in 1967 as Medical Secretary, and from Careerco School for Paraprofessionals, in 1972 as a Dental Assistant. Cynthia worked for the State of New York Upstate Medical Center in Pediatrics; Bristol Myers Pharmaceutical Research and Medical Divisions; and retired from O’Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc. in 2011 having worked n the Marketing Division for over 23 years as a program coordinator/assistant writer.
She was married to Robert T.C. Cooper in August 1976 and had a son,, Sean Jason, who was born on October 16, 1979.

Cynthia was an active member at Westvale SDA Church, established the Neighborhood Watch in her community and served several years as a notary public for Onondaga County.
