Sarah M. Giamartino, 28, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021. Sarah was born in Syracuse on March 31, 1992 daughter of Susan Donahue and the late Dominick Giamartino.

Sarah was a graduate of Liverpool High School, and went on to become a licensed esthetician. She was a truly gifted makeup artist. Sarah will be remembered for her beautiful smile and amazing laugh. She had a compassionate and very giving heart.

She is survived by her mother, Susan Donahue, sister, Christina Downes, brother and best friend, Dominick “DJ” Giamartino IV, maternal grandfather, Henry Donahue, paternal grandparents, Sandra Lidel, Dominick Giamartino, her beloved friend, Edin Zahirovic, along with aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Louise Donahue.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse, with services at 6pm. Any donations will be given to a charity in her honor.

Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
