Peter was born in Syracuse, New York on August 29, 1943 to the late Charles and Cecile Devereaux.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Peter retired from Town of Salina Highway Dept. after 20 years. An avid Syracuse and Yankee’s fan, Peter enjoyed all sports. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and pets.
He is survived by his Wife of 52 years, Joanne Devereaux; Three Daughters, Michelle (Brian) Quinn, Sherrie (Dale) Constantine, Devon (Adrian) Alfaro; 8 Grandchildren; Sister, Patricia (Butch) Simpson; Brother, Richard (Cara) Devereaux.
Visitation will take place on Monday, 11 AM-1 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 1 PM. Burial to take place in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the CNY SPCA.
