Richard J. Major, 80, of Baldwinsville, passed away March 8, 2021.
Richard was born in Utica, New York on July 12, 1940 to the late John and Marge Major.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Richard worked as a computer programmer for many years with Southwest Mutual Bell. Later he worked as a Security Guard before retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, bowling and being a Toastmaster. Rick also was a faithful parishioner of Christ Community Church.
He is predeceased by his Wife, Dottie; Sister, Patricia Daniello.
He is survived by his Children, Mary (Marty) Major-Waisbrot, Marty (Donna) Major, Thomas (Mary Jo) Major, Scott Major, Danielle Belford; Step-Children, Marolynne Doner, Karolynne Walker; Sister, Ann Jock; Grandchildren, Monique Martin; Jesse, Josie, Bram and Max Waisbrot; Brandon Major; Thomas, Liz and Emily Major; Matthew Major-Moorman; Maddalena Belford; As well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
