July 29, 1943 — March 25, 2021
Roberto Malave 78, of Syracuse, New York went to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico in 1943 to the late Thomas and Martina (Felix) Malave.
Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; children, Robert Malave, Carol Malave, Nancy Hoag (Robert) and Steve Melvin (Michele); grandchildren, Steve, Ashley, Kristie, Sean, Martina, and Daniel Jacob; great grandchildren, Elaine, Ziggie and Stevie; as well as, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Roberto retired from Syracuse University after 30 years of service. He loved fishing, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
No memorial service will be held
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
