Vernon "Barney" Douglas, 69, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2021.
Vernon was born in Syracuse, New York on June 3, 1951 to the late Joseph and Loretta Douglas.
Vernon retired from Cole Muffler after over 40 years as a mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed, daily trips to McDonalds for coffee with friends, but most of all loved to spend time with his family. He spent his days helping others.
He is survived by his Daughter, Carrie (Tim Kuney) Douglas; Son, Todd (Shonda) Douglas; Three grandchildren, Angelina Colon, Kaitlin Maneri, Kamren Kelley; Great Grandson, Carter Kelley; As well as several Brothers and Sisters.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 18th 12-3 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
