Michael E. Smith, 60, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13th. Michael was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and also loved watching SU basketball and football. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather.

He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Anne Smith and his sister, Eileen Smith.

Michael is survived by his four children, Brian (Felicia), Gregory, David (Jessica) and Kimberly (Brent); step-son, Marc Sweet; former wife, Melanie Smith; grandchildren, Shayn, Ameliah, Kamren, Stephen, Brayden, Ayden, Colby, Jaslynn, Arabella, Cadyn, KayLee, Jayden; brother, Martin (Linda) Smith; niece, Kate and nephew, Kevin.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 19th 3-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 5pm.
