Bernice P. Dozier, 85, of Syracuse, formerly of Elmira, passed away April 15, 2021.
Bernice was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 7, 1935 to Harold and Madeline McClure.
Bernice retired from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira after many years as the ward clerk. She was a member of the Queen City Temple Elks Club.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, William Dozier; Brother, Harold McClure and Nephew, Ronald McClure.
She is survived by her Daughter, Lisa (Richard) Heyward; Son, Michael Dozier; Nephew, Harold McClure; Nieces, Angela (Steve) McArthur, Ronda (George) Ross; Four grandchildren, April, Israel (Nicole), Hannah, Alexander; Two great grandchildren, Damian and Jude.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 2 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.
