1936 - 2020

Jay C. Lucken, 84, of Syracuse, NY passed away April 15, 2020.

He served in The United States Air Force during The Korean War.

Jay retired from Clark Concrete Co. He enjoyed reading, photography and cameras, electronics, buying and
selling collectors items. You could always find him tinkering with a new item he had discovered. He will be remembered for all of these things as well as his knowledge and so much more. He and his incredible smile are missed.

Jay is survived by his daughters, Terri Lucken of North Carolina and Laurie Nesci (Rich) of Cicero; his extended family, Sandra Hayes (Reynold), Juanita Starowicz (Joseph), Dawn Champagne, James Champagne, and John Champagne (Nancy); his grandchildren, Marissa Colavecchio, Danielle Colavecchio, Nina Grosso, Gianna Grosso,
Nico Grosso, RJ Nesci, Sydney Nesci; and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Trygve Lucken; his mother, Lillian Fitzgerald; brother, Norman Lucken; longtime companion, Emily Champagne; and extended family Jerry Champagne and Fran Crossman.

His surviving brother Trygve Lucken passed away April 30, 2021.

A private service to celebrate Jay's life will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery May 6, 2021.
