Stephen Raymond Nodzo, 86, of Liverpool, passed away October 9, 2021.

Stephen was born in Syracuse on September 3, 1935 to the late Stephen Nodzo and Frances Troendle-Nodzo. He was the Class of 1953 Valedictorian at G. W. Smith Technical School. Following graduation, he served as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was a longtime member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church in Syracuse. He worked for many years as a graphic designer. He was very handy and could fix anything. Most importantly Stephen loved spending time with his family especially his wife of 63 years, Alice.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice; three sons, Stephen G. (Debra) Nodzo, Keith (Roseanne Sutton-Nodzo) Nodzo, and Robert Nodzo; daughter, Susan (Paul) Rizzo; grandchildren, Stephanie Michalski, Alex Nodzo, Carissa and Holly Nodzo, Seth, Zachary, Amy, Emmeline, and Luke Rizzo; siblings, Roger Nodzo and Lorraine Baker; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Sunday, 3-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse.

A funeral service will take place Monday, 10AM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
