Linda Lee Chastain, née Weber, passed away unexpectedly on November 20th, 2021 in New York.

Linda was born in Halstead, Kansas on August 20th 1940, to the late A.W. Weber and Vivian A. Weber of Wichita, Kansas. Her great grandmother was the first woman treasurer in the state of Kansas. Linda worked for the California Governor’s office for 28 years as a judicial appointee at the State Capital in Sacramento, California at the pleasure of the Governor. She met Presidents, Governors, Senators and dignitaries. She loved her Republican Party. She was beautiful, popular and had many friends. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was truly lovely.

She is survived by her two Children, Chad (Jody) Chastain and Tracy (Michael) Chastain-Maxey; and a Grandchild Ryan Christian Chastain-Maxey all who she adored.

Funeral will be private with family.

She is to be buried in the family plot in Halstead, Kansas.

Any donations may be made to the SPCA to honor her.
