Lawrence I. Richards, 89, of Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 6th. He retired from Peace, Inc. after around 20 years of service. Lawrence enjoyed watching pro wrestling, the NY Mets and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Shirley; children, Robert (Janet) Richards and Sherry (James) Knepp; grandchildren, Jason, Christina, Jessica, Amanda, Christopher, Rebecca and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Selena, Andrew, Trent, Cheyenne, Shy’meriah, Breanna, Charlena, Atheena, Eisley, Serena, Maximus and Audrina.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 12th 11 AM -12 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to In My Father’s Kitchen Syracuse, NY.
His life is a testimony of unselfish love, always wiling to help without being asked, loving unconditionally.
