Robert M. Bennett, 71, of Syracuse, passed away January 10, 2022. Robert was born in Plainwell, Michigan January 21, 1950 to Hazel and Robert Bennett. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1968-1969. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, boating, and bowling.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother and father Hazel and Robert Bennett, and cousin, Keith.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Bennett, brother, Stephen D. Bennett; son, Michael Bennett; daughter, Michelle Bennett, and stepdaughter, Lisa Hess.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 16th, 2022 at 5:30pm, at Buckley Road Baptist Church. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd – Suite #130 Lanham, MD 20706.
