Jeffrey W. “Jeff” Chamberlain, 59, of Oneonta, passed away unexpectedly May 27, 2022.

Jeff was born in Johnson City, N.Y., on December 1, 1962, to Gary and Barbara Chamberlain.

He grew up in the Oneonta area, and lived in Adams Center, N.Y. and Palm Harbor, FL. Adams Center was the place he considered home and was close to his heart. He enjoyed spending time in Clayton, N.Y, walking along the river and sharing big dinners on the farm with family.

He attended Oneonta High School and graduated from South Jefferson High School in Adams, N.Y. He also attended Jefferson Community College in Watertown, N.Y.

Jeff was a mason for Casler Masonry, Inc., and he was a proud member of the B.A.C Local 2. Jeff loved his work and was well respected in his field by his employer and co-workers.

Jeff is survived by his much loved daughter, Brianna, Arcade, N.Y.; parents, Gary and Barbara Chamberlain, Hendersonville, N.C.; brother, John, Hendersonville, N.C.; sister, Karen (David) Elderkin, Greensboro, N.C.; close cousins, Gerald (Valerie) and Glen (Marla) Chamberlain of Adams Center, with whom he shared many good times; Aunt Fran (Chamberlain) Clifford of Belleview, FL and Whitney Point, N.Y.; as well as several cousins and friends.

Jeff was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Elizabeth Elenois and paternal grandparents, Gary and Edith Chamberlain.

Jeff will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be private. The family asks that you submit a memory of Jeff for his daughter Brianna to remember him by.
