David C. Joy, 67 Years, of Liverpool, passed into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, June 22, 2022. David was born in Oswego, New York on January 12, 1955 to Charles and Joan Joy.

David retired from Social Security Administration. He was proud to serve in the US Marine Corp from 1976 to 1980. David was active in his church serving as Trustee, on the safety team and a leader in the Christian Service Brigade for many years. In his free time, he loved gardening and reading about history.

He was preceded in death by Father, Charles Joy; Mother, Joan Joy; Sister, Janet Feeney.

He is survived by his Wife of 34 years, Joan E. Joy; Three Sons, Jeffrey Joy, Kevin Joy, Patrick Joy; Brother, Edward Joy.

Family and friends may call on June 24, 2022, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY where funeral services will follow at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gathering Place at NSBC Mission Fund at 420 S. Main St. N. Syracuse, NY; Francis House at 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY; and the Rescue Mission at 155 Gifford St, Syracuse, NY.
