Christy graduated from Cicero High School in 1982. She then attended Herkimer Community College where she graduated in 1984. She was an avid sports player her entire life, making many lifelong friends along the way. Christy was a member of the Park Hill Tavern co-ed softball team that was inducted into the USSSA New York State Hall of Fame in 2017. She was also a long-standing and dedicated volunteer at the Glimmerglass Triathlon every summer. She was employed by Crouse Hospital, where she dedicated over 35 years of her life.
Christy is survived by her parents; Ben and Gael, her twin sister; Laurie (Billy) Liberman, sister; Shani (Michael) Sulewski, niece; Rachael (Casey) Rotella, nephew; Jonathon (Heather) Pastorell, niece; Carley (John) Sulewski, great nephews; Brayden, Max and Maverick, her dear friends; Karen Keast, Dana Pierce, Kim Reed and Tina Arnold, many aunts, uncles and cousins, her PSB family, and her beloved dog; Luca.
Christy's family and friends meant the world to her. She was a selfless, caring and kind soul. She spread love and light to anyone she met. Her presence and kindness will forever be held close in the hearts of the many who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7pm.
