Jacqueline Ray Bashore, 90, of Cicero, NY, died on November 12th, 2022 after a brief illness. Jackie was born in Muncie, Indiana on Sept. 26, 1932 to John & Vera Mullen. She married Harold F. Bashore in 1951 and shared 55 years together in Muncie, North Syracuse, and Englewood, Florida with summer camps in Clayton and Cross Lake NY.

Jackie is predeceased by her husband, her brother and sister-in-law Bob & Wanda Burns, and niece Diana Michener.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa, sons Michael and Matthew (Mary), beloved grandchildren Mandy, Casey and Harold, grandniece Wendy Smith and her family of Yorktown, IN, and many kind and caring friends and neighbors. Jackie was a former employee of Dey Brothers and Sears.

She enjoyed traveling, especially with family to Walt Disney World, golfing with her buddies in Florida, testing her luck at casinos, a good book and a glass of wine, and for the last 15 years, socializing with her many friends at the Cicero Senior Citizen Center. Since returning to New York, she delighted in playing “Mrs. Claus” at holiday gatherings throughout the community.

A funeral mass will be held at St, Rose of Lima Catholic Church, North Syracuse on Thursday, December 1st 2022 at 10:30am with refreshments following in the parish hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Humane CNY or the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
