David was one of my best friends in high school. My friend, Gloria, and I were both sophomores and David and his buddies were all seniors.
We had the best time hanging out with “the boys “
David loved to sing in Jentones/Jentry’s and was always cutting us up. He had a quiet and dry sense of humor, but when everyone else was through laughing at others, he would always have a one-liner that beat them all.
He was a true gentleman and fellow brother in the Lord. I know he will be missed by many.
See you in Heaven, Dave!

I remember Dave in high school always smiling. His smile could light up a room. So sad to hear this news. All my best to the family.

From "The Sadder But Wiser Girl" to "The Boys" to playing together in Fieldstone - we did a lot together so many years ago. I last saw him at the Jentone/Jentry reunion. What a wonderful man. Way too soon, my friend...

This guy…. Who didn’t have to mention Jesus to me, he lived it:
I worked side by side for 7 , almost 8 years with Dave, 5 days a week he showed me through his faithfulness, love for his family and dedication to whatever cause he had brewing in his heart.
His wife’s name (Suzanne) was always on his lips and in his heart. There was not a day together that he didn’t mention her .
He was and will always be …..a friend, and a man I could truly call…. Brother.

As I heard this news I recall a conversation with Mary about her family. In every picture all the smiles and all the love. Thank you Mary and Fay for sharing your family. Sorry to hear the loss but know he is with our Lord.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know God is watching over you and your family and he has welcomed David home to his house. Remember we are born into this world but we are not of this world when we are children of God. I know God has welcomed David home…

I belonged with David in our male singing group, Jentry's, and musicals. Always got along and felt his presence during those times as an enrichment of growing up.
I wish words would heal the pain of his loss.

I have many, many great memories of Dave and our escapades including being his best man in his wedding to Sue. He was a talented musician, a devoted servant of God and a founding member of our high school group the Boys. My wife and I have been swapping memories and praying for Dave since hearing of Dave’s illness. God just got a new tenor for his choir of angels. Rest in peace old friend.

Diane and I were honored to know David. We actually got to spend this last Thanksgiving with David and Suzanne at their sons home in Blaine MN. Dave Jr. as I call him married our daughter Danielle. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner and spent the next day enjoying the museums in Minnesota. As we left to go home on Friday after Thanksgiving, David Sr. gave me a hug and we embraced for some time. I thank the Lord for that last opportunity to interact with David not knowing I would never see him again on this earth. Diane and I will see him again on the streets of gold. Precious moments.

Dave was a great friend and a great example of a Godly servant. He did so many things for our church I can hardly fathom how we’ll function without him. I’ll miss Dave very much, as I’m sure all of you will as well. But he’s with Jesus now - I take joy and comfort in that. And I look forward to seeing him again! God bless you and I pray The Lord comforts you in your time of grief.

David, was indeed a great sports fan. SU basketball, Bengals football and most of all the Dodgers baseball team. I remember that he journeyed from Kirkville to NYC and to Los Angels just catch an import Dodgers game. He will be remembered as man who devoted himself to his family and as a life well lived. Good on you David...RIP.
