Colleen Marie Hall
1961 - 2023

Colleen Marie Hall (Wilson), 61 of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully this Friday, on January 13th, 2023 with her family by her side at Upstate Medical Center.

Born to Shirley Dann and Robert Wilson on August 28th 1961, Colleen was a lifelong Syracuse resident, growing up on the Far West Side of Syracuse. When she was a young girl she enjoyed fishing for Bullhead at her family's camp on Colwell Pond. This stayed one of her favorite areas to visit her whole life.

She is survived by her Husband, Ray Hall of Liverpool; Daughter, Wendy Santiago of Liverpool; Sons, Daniel (Jennifer) Hall of Syracuse, Marquies Ballard-Lanaux of Liverpool; Grandchildren, Felix and Mariela Santiago of Liverpool; longtime Companion, Jerry Hill; Sisters, Debbie Tysco-Owens of Syracuse and Cynthia (Thomas) Brennan of North Syracuse, Linda (Chris) Tiffault of Liverpool and Michelle (Tom) Coon; Brother, Robert (Mary) Wilson of Liverpool; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her Parents, Robert Wilson and Shirley Dann; Sister-in-law, Celia (Charles) Scoville.

Colleen was most known for her kind heart that shined brightly through every aspect of her life: from her family that she cared for so deeply, to those she welcomed in and treated like family. Everyone lucky enough to know her could expect her to lend her ear and do anything and everything she could to help others. This also came through in her jobs as well. A longtime Bar Maid at Burke's Family Bar and 20 year employee and Manager at Sunshine Mini Mart. She loved talking with her regulars and was always quick for a joke for a little laugh.

She also loved spending time with her family: her kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews brought her the greatest joy in life. The second greatest joy in her life was Garth Brooks! While she loved most country music, Garth held a special place in her heart. Colleen was a game show whiz and avid garage saler. She went out of her way to do anything she could to improve the lives of the people around her and both she and her generosity will forever live on in our hearts.

Colleen's family wishes to extend the deepest gratitude to Dr. Rahul Seth and Deborah Cloonan, PA from Upstate Cancer Center. The entire staff of the Cancer Center and Upstate Medical Center went above and beyond to compassionately care for her. Her family is eternally grateful to each and every member of their combined staffs.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 from 9am-12pm. Funeral service will follow at 12pm. Entombment will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
