David Robert Hamlin, 67, of Central Square, passed away January 17, 2023.

David was born in Syracuse, New York on February 16, 1955 to the late Robert and Ethel Hamlin. He graduated from Liverpool High School and Paul Smith's College.

David retired from Eagle Metalcraft after many years. He was an avid golfer, and Syracuse and Buffalo Bills fan. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and canoeing. David volunteered at the Constantia Boys Scouts troop for many years.

David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jeanine Hamlin; daughter, Rebecca Hamlin; son, Brian (Charlene) Hamlin; two sisters, Diane Foraker, Denise (Steven) Rowe; nieces, Kimberly Foraker, Kristin Zimmerman; and nephews, Jason (Gabby) Foraker, and Douglas (Staci) Moore.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service will take place Wednesday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
