Maryanne Lawrence, 75, of Clay, passed away January 22, 2023. Maryanne was born in Flushing, New York on September 9, 1947 to Raymond and Berenice Mahlke. Maryanne retired from North Syracuse Central School District in 2009 where she was employed as a teaching assistant. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish and the Ladies of Faith. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandma.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Berenice and father, Raymond Mahlke.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William Lawrence; children, William A. Lawrence Jr., Amy (Jeff) Clark, and Keith (Kathy) Lawrence; grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Alex, Elizabeth, Caela, Matthew, and Meghan.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 from 10-12PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A funeral service will follow at Sacred Heart Church at 12:30PM, with Deacon Ken Money officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Maryanne's name to Anna's Pantry, Sacred Heart Church.

The family would like to extend their immense gratitude to Dr. Joseph Augustine, Dr. Boris Buniak, and all of the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for the compassionate care Maryanne was given.
