David P. Hayes, 67 of Syracuse, passed away at home on Monday, March 6th, 2023. Born on October 7th, 1955 in Syracuse to the late David and Patricia Hayes.
He worked in retail most of his life, recently for Jos A. Bank. David was an avid sports fan following the Syracuse Crunch, Chicago Blackhawks, Green Bay Packers and SU sports. David loved spending time with his family and was very generous to his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his siblings, Daniel (Gina) Hayes, Douglas (Deborah) Hayes, Dennis (Valerie) Hayes and Karen Hayes and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 from 5-7pm.
