Mary Helen Suchewski, 75, of Pennellville, entered Heaven March 16, 2023.

Mary was born in Syracuse, New York on March 4, 1948 to the late John and Rose LaGrange. Mary worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and then continued her charitable work with Catholic Charities for over 30 years through St. Vincent DePaul as a manager. She had a love for the kitchen and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends. She was a crafter in both material and hobby items. Mary enjoyed donating her time, energy, and funds to some of her favorite charities which included The Assumption Food Pantry, Upstate Golisano's Children's Hospital, Boy's Town and in particular St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Her most prideful contributions were always made on behalf of the Veterans. She was a loving and nurturing Wife, Mother, Mother-In-Law and Babci. Her pride and joy were her Children, Grandchildren, and Sons-In-Law.

Mary was predeceased by her sister, Joanne LaFirst; and her sisters-in-law, Maureen Walts and Karen LaGrange.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Suchewski; two daughters, Kim (Matthew) Brooker of Colorado and Carol (Jon) Kyle; granddaughter, Gracie Girl (Mason Betterley) Kyle; three grandsons, Wyatt M. Kyle, Michael J.D. Brooker and Matthew A.T. Brooker; three brothers, John LaGrange, Jr., James LaGrange and Joseph LaGrange; two sisters, Rosella LaGrange and Patricia (Jon) Anderson; brother and sister in law, Frank and Jeanette Suchewski; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Wreath's Across America, or any Veteran's Agency.
