Edmond L. "Bubba" Ramie, Sr.

Edmond L. Ramie, Sr, "Bubba", age 85, of Liverpool, NY, passed away peacefully on 3/17/2023 at Menorah Park.
Edmond was born January 1, 1938 in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Alphonse and Mary Ramie. He served in the U.S. Marines stationed in Okinawa from 1956 to 1959. He retired as a truck driver known on the road as "The Agitator". After retirement, he enjoyed fishing with his grandkids, gambling at the Turning Stone, and doing just about anything to make people smile. Bubba was rarely ever seen without his cowboy hat.

Edmond was predeceased by his former wife Barbara Ramie, their son Edmond Ramie Jr., and his sisters Mary Elaine Mahon and Linda Martino.
He is survived by his children, Christine Bulles, James (Amy) Ramie, Debra Brower, and Bobbi-Jo Chace, siblings Allan (Miriam) Ramie, Doris (Bill) Lees and Stephen Ramie. Loving "Grampa" to Matthew, Lauren, Kiana, Nicole, Brandon, James and Brody, and five great-grandchildren. Ed was a friend to all who knew him and leaves behind many lifelong friends to cherish his memory. He will be deeply missed.

Following Edmond's wishes, there will be no services.

Donations may be made in his honor to the Syracuse VA Medical Center.
