Lori Ann Moreth, 59, of Fulton, passed away on March 14th, 2023.

Lori was born in Syracuse, New York on March 25th, 1963, to the late Loretta Elioff and John Tabo Vercillo.

She is predeceased by her brother, John David Vercillo; and her mother and father-in-law, Beverly J. and Richard W. Moreth.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, William Moreth; her daughter, India Moreth; her son, Joseph Elioff; her stepfather, Ted Elioff; sister-in-law, Ginny (Jeff) Johnson; brother-in-law, Donny (Janet) Moreth; nephews, Johnny M. Vercillo, Shawn, Danny and Joey Moreth; her three dogs, Penny, Bandit, and Belle; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lori was an intelligent and determined woman who graduated with the highest honors from Oswego State University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master’s in Mental Health Counselling, specializing in Chemical Dependency in 2013. She also graduated from R.I.T. with her Associate’s in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation in 1999 and had certifications in Surgical Technology and Cosmetology in her earlier years.

Lori cherished spending time with her family. Her children (including her dogs) meant the world to her, and she made sure everyone knew that. She loved to create beautiful handmade crafts throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed baking many delicious treats for her family and friends, including recipes from her dear Grandmother. During Summertime, you could not get her out of her garden.

Lori had such a strong faith that she was baptized on May 17th, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton where she became friends with many wonderful people and adored her time there practicing her faith. Lori was such a beautiful, kindhearted, and honest soul who touched the hearts of many she encountered. She is loved and missed so dearly.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 24th, from 5pm to 8pm, held at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212. Lori wished to be cremated.

Services will be on Saturday, March 25th, starting at 1pm, held at Calvary Baptist Church, 922 W 1st St South, Fulton, NY 13069.

There will be a celebration of Lori’s life after the services in the downstairs of the church.
