1927 - 2023

Betty A. Abrams, 96, of East Syracuse, passed away May 24, 2023. Betty was born in Watertown, New York on January 10, 1927 to Harold and Mildred Busler. Betty retired from Bel Air Laundromat, Syracuse. She was a member of the Twin and Triplets Club for over 50 years. Betty was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed spending quality time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold Abrams; three sons, Butch Abrams, Joseph Abrams and Robert Abrams; daughter, Diane Smith; brothers, Harold Busler and Keith Busler; sisters, Elaine Bissell and Jean Piquet; and parents Harold and Mildred Busler.

Betty is survived by her five daughters, Carol Filicia, Patti (Gary) Warga, Mary (Eddie) Reite, Karen (Richard) O'Brien and Katherine (Jim) Briggs; son, Kevin (Lori) Abrams; and several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Calling hours will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A funeral service will be held the following morning at 10am. Interment will be made in Collamer Cemetery. A reception will follow at the North Syracuse Christian Church, 911 Church St, Syracuse, NY 13212.
