James was a Union Painter for 10 years, and a Landlord most of his life. He successfully completed his mandatory military service in Italy. He came to the US in his early twenties where he met his wife, Maria Papa Grispino. Shortly thereafter, they were married and had their only son, Joseph Grispino. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, shooting clay targets, riding motorcycles, making wine, cooking, dancing, and working on his properties.
He is predeceased by his Wife, Maria Papa Grispino; Parents and Brother, Gitano Grispino.
James is survived by his Son, Joseph (Marlaina) Grispino; Grandchildren, Joseph A. Grispino, Mariella J. Grispino; Brother, Rosario Grispino; a few Nephews; and his Italian American friends and American Legion dance partners.
Family and friends may call on June 9, 2023 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home with a service to follow at 5:00pm.
