Alan Moyer

Alan Moyer, 60, of Syracuse, passed away on June 23, 2025, after a long illness.

Alan was born in Syracuse, New York, on May 12, 1965, to Dale and Lillian Moyer.

Alan graduated from Corcoran High School in 1983. Afterward, he served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He worked in the hospitality industry for close to 30 years until his retirement.

Alan was a big sports fan, spending his free time golfing and following the Dallas Cowboys and New York Mets. He also enjoyed traveling.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Moyer, and his mother, Lillian.

He is survived by his two brothers, Rene Moyer and Dale Moyer; his sister, Kim Timson; two nephews, Larry Perry and John Perry; and His Aunt, Eleanor Johnson.

Family and friends may call on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., Syracuse, NY 13212.
