Alexis Anne Wurster, 24, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 21, 2026
Lexi was a work of art, as beautiful as every sketch with her pencil and stroke of her paintbrush. If you knew her, you loved her, even her spicy side which we attribute to her obsession with Sriracha and chipotle sauce. She loved with her whole heart and no one meant more to her than her family, especially her siblings and her cat, Mr. Fuzz.
She loved to read, watch horror movies and wasn't herself without her beloved Syracuse Crunch hockey. She may have loved fall but only because it was hockey season. Roses were her favorite (hated tulips) and she would never pass up a chicken quesadilla from WaWa. Her eye rolls were epic but her smile showed the world who she was.
In true Lexi fashion, she would never leave you without yelling "Thank you, Have a good day!".
No, Lex. . thank you .. thank you for allowing us to have you in our lives, to love you, even if it wasnt quite as long as we wanted.. Dorothy said it best.. "I think I'll miss you the most". Your spirit, faith and heart will forever be cherished.
She is predeceased by her grandmother, Barbara Wurster and her aunt, Jennifer Morey.
She is survived by her parents: Lisa LaPrease (Larry), Chad Wurster (Anna), her siblings: Tori, Raegan, Starr and Travis, her grandparents, Gary Wurster and James&Patricia Jackson as well as many many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Take care of yourselves and each other, hug tighter, love harder. Life is short, eat the cake.
