Alfred Gray Jr.

Alfred Gray, Jr. of North Syracuse passed away peacefully on October 12, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather that always put his family first. He provided a home on Oneida lake, which was a dream of his since he was a child. He was proud to be named after his father, serve his country, and be an active member of Roofers local #195 for 72 years.

 He loved to grill, swim, play pool, and watch old movies. He worked hard all week and enjoyed spending every weekend on family outings. He was loved by his family and we knew we were loved by him.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa Gray, Brenda Eastman (Brian), and Tracy Gray. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Carter and Sister in law Barbara Lincoln (Melvin), grandchildren James, Jameisha, Shawntisha, Brandon, and Nathan and great grandchildren, Ahmya, Jhanadia, Julius, Layla and Ja'nora and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Norma of 53 years, his sons David and Michael and daughter Nancy, He is also predeceased by his brothers Raymond and Michael, sisters Margaret and Sylvia, his niece Elaine, nephew Raymond, and brother in laws Floyd and Keenan.

Services will be private.
