Alson M. Clarke Sr.,87, of Mattydale, passed away Thursday unexpectedly. He was a retired Teamster.
He is predeceased by his wife, Arlene M. Clarke, March 1999.
He is survived by three children, Alson M. (Cindy) Clarke, Robert J. Clarke and Eileen M. Draper; a granddaughter, Jessica M. Clarke; a brother, Thomas R. Clarke.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday 11:30AM at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will follow at the North Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
