Amando Chanelo Rodriguez, son of Cayetano Chanelo and Eleuteria Rodriguez, passed away at the age of 58 on November 15th, 2018.
Chanelo was born on May 2nd, 1960 in Guerrero Mexico. He immigrated to the United States in the 80's, searching for a better life for his family. He worked throughout the East Coast, ultimately deciding upon Syracuse to raise his young family.
He is survived by his five children, Kenia, Juan, Julio, Emmanuel and Daniel and four grandchildren, Cielo, Isabelle, Penelope and Julian.
To know Chanelo was to know his love for his children, his kindness toward his friends, and his readiness for laughter.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, November 20th, from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North. Syracuse, with services to follow at 7pm.
