Amber Clookey

Amber Clookey passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 40. Born on November 6, 1985, Amber will be remembered as a free spirit whose presence brought warmth, honesty, and care to those around her.

Amber loved cooking and baking, especially cookies and cakes, and she found great joy in spending time with her children. She was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan and someone who was never afraid to voice her opinions. As the oldest of her five siblings, she held an important place in her family. Amber was also known for being there for anyone in need, offering support, compassion, and a generous heart to those she loved.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Timothy Kelley. She also leaves behind her beloved children, Chelsea, Cassius, Jylessa and also her grandson, Braxton. Who held a special place in her heart. Amber is also survived by her mother, Tina; her brother Dana Jr. (Sarah); her sister Krista; and her brothers, Joshua and Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dana Clookey Sr.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.

Amber will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
