Amy R. Rausa

Amy R Rausa, 71, of Mattydale, passed away May 4, 2025. Amy was born in Syracuse, New York to the late Stanley and Rose Rozanski. 

Amy retired from Aegis Insurance Co., West Monroe, NY. In her free time, she loved gaming at the casino; in her younger years she was an avid bowler. She also loved gardening and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She was predeceased by her brother-In-law, Richard Woodruff. She is survived by her husband, Frank Rausa; daughter, Jessica (Rick Frear) Rausa; son, Eric Rausa; two sisters, Sally Woodruff, Cyndi (Jeff) Brown; four grandchildren, Anthony Majerus, Carter Frear, Andru Goodwin and Alyia Goodwin; along with several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 9am - 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse. A mass will follow at 11:30am at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Interment to take place in Assumption Cemetery.
