Anita R. Hall

Anita R. Hall, 80, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026. Born on December 05, 1945, in Syracuse, NY, Anita's life was a testament to love and laughter.

Anita was a woman of many talents and passions. She loved to go bowling, rug hooking and was an avid reader. In the summer, she enjoyed going to the local pool and swimming with her grandchildren. She was a 1966 graduate of Henninger High School. She spent over 25 years as a crossing guard for the Syracuse Police Department.

She was predeceased in death by her mother, Ann Buckley; father, William Buckley; and sister, Roxanne Fratto.

She is survived by her loving husband, John, of 55 years, and their son, John. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Hall, of Syracuse. Anita's memory will live on through her family and friends whose lives have been enriched by her unwavering love and support.

A private burial will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Woodlawn Cemetery at 9:00 AM.
