Anita Haynes

Anita Haynes (AKA Weezy), 65, of Syracuse, passed away on November 23, 2025.

Anita was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on July 15, 1960, and was raised in Syracuse, NY, to Marshall Trapp and Mary Scoville.

Anita retired from Taco Bell in 1999. She was a huge Harry Potter fan. In her free time, she enjoyed reading her Harry Potter books and watching the neighborhood kids play.

Anita was a really great person in heart and spirit, bringing smiles to many faces.

She was predeceased in death by her mother, Mary Jane, and father, Marshall Trapp; her loving son, Andrew Barnowski; and her stepson, Shane Smith.

She is survived by her brother, Martin, AKA Butch (Ann Marie Frazer) Trapp. Aunts Betty Scoville and Linda Farr, daughter-in-law, Catherine Lay. grandchildren, Anistine, Harmoni, Savannah-Lynn, and Makayla. nieces and nephews, Tamika Sparks and Leo Sparks Jr, Peggy Blaser, Jennifer Trapp, and David Trapp. great niece and nephew, Nicole Blair and James Blair.
