Ann C. "Palupia" Sanford, 66, of Clay, passed away on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital, after a long illness. She was born on September 29, 1947 in Syracuse, daughter of Fred and Anna Crowley. Ann was very involved with the Syracuse Chargers Rowing Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, David, her son, Keith Sanford and sister Carol Molis.
Surviving are her son, Gregg, Liverpool, daughter, Erika Nicholson, 2 grandchildren, Katrina Rhode, Jazmyn Nicholson, 3 sisters: Diana Procopio, Maryann D'Alessio & Caron Scherer.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Monday 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
