Anne M. Stene
April 6, 1940 — December 22, 2025
Anne M. Stene, 85, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Anne was born in Saranac Lake, NY on April 6, 1940, daughter of the late George Russell and Ruby Farrell.
Anne was employed at Niagara Mohawk, retiring in 2001.
She was predeceased by her sons, David Garland, Jason Stene; two sisters, Mary Farrell, Jean Kennedy; and her brothers, George Farrell and Thomas Farrell.
She is survived by her son, Stephen (Gloria) Garland; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Burt and Marguerite "Peggy" Wentworth.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 3:30pm at the Buckley Road Baptist Church, 4962 Buckley Rd, Liverpool, NY.
