Anthony V. Senzarino, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the community, passed away on June 14, 2025, in a tragic house fire in Cicero, alongside his cherished wife, Diane. He was born on December 2, 1943, and dedicated much of his life to both his family and his work.
Tony's professional journey began after he graduated from North High, leading him to establish A&R Industrial Repair, which he owned and operated for 30 years. His passion for his work not only showcased his dedication to quality and service but also reflected his entrepreneurial spirit.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Tony served honorably as a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War, where he demonstrated remarkable bravery and resilience, earning a Purple Heart after being wounded in action. His military service was a testament to his character, embodying the values of courage and commitment to his country.
Tony was also an active and high-ranking member of the Freemasons, where he not only found camaraderie but also embraced the principles of friendship and philanthropy. His involvement with the Shriners further illustrated his dedication to service, as he contributed to their mission of helping children in need.
He is survived by his daughters, Gina-Marie Taro (Phil) and Toni-Ann Wojciechowski (Dan); his grandchildren, Shane (Jacki) Taro, Marisa Taro (Peter), Anthony (Allison) Taro, Ayden Senzarino, Riley Wojciechowski, and Kiley Wojciechowski; and his mother-in-law, Betty Jane Farrell. The legacy Tony leaves behind is one filled with love, strength, and the profound impact he had on the lives of his family and the community.
Tony's spirit will live on in the memories shared by those who knew him and the values he instilled in his family. His life was a testament to the profound connections we build and the lasting influence one individual can have on many. He will be dearly missed, yet fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
To honor Tony's wishes, there will not be any services. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date for friends and family to celebrate his and Diane's lives.
