In Loving Memory of Barbara McConnell Barbara McConnell, age 83, of Constantia, New York, passed away on August 8, 2026.

She was born in New Jersey on January 23, 1943. She was raised alongside her siblings, Pat and Ronnie, by their loving parents, Virginia and Richard Cherkin.

Barbara founded McB Bears and later Walk in the Garden. She was a world traveler, sharing her love of McB Bears and her ministry wherever her journey took her.

Barbara is survived by her two adopted children, Sarah McConnell Barker and Daniel McConnell, and her one grandchild, Kaileigh Barker.
