Barbara S. Mehalek, of Cicero, formerly of Huntington Station, passed away on May 13, 2014. She is predeceased by her husband, Michael H. Mehalek.
She is survived by her significant other, Donald Nealon; four children, Glenn (Joni) Mehalek, Karen (Tom) Paluch, Julie (Russ) Mix Pellegrino and Linda (Chris) Vassallo; 13 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sister, Judy Connor; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 1:00 PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Heart Association.
