Bertha E. (Betty) Fanella, 87, of Syracuse, passed away Friday after a short illness. Betty was a devoted wife, taking great care of her husband, her family and enjoyed gardening. Betty is pre-deceased by her husband, Robert James Fanella and their son, Jon.
She is survived by a son, James; daughter, Patricia Charbonneau; sister, LuLu Bowes; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Syracuse. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 10-11 AM, before the service, at the church.
