Brenda L. Thompson

Brenda L. Thompson, born on January 10, 1952, left this world on September 2, 2025.

She is remembered as a quiet and kindhearted individual who brought joy to those around her. A passionate crocheter, Brenda had a particular fondness for western shows. As someone who found happiness in life's simple pleasures, she loved indulging in word searches, popcorn, and ice cream.

Brenda cherished the fond memories of camping trips with her family in Old Forge and Lake George, moments that reflected her love for nature and family bonding.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Tina) Thompson, Mike (Elise) Thompson, and Kenneth Thompson; her grandsons, Anthony Thompson and Ayden Thompson; her granddaughters, Jaina Thompson, Alyssa Romanoff, and Arianna Thompson; and her three great-grandchildren.

Brenda reunites in peace with her beloved husband, Charles Thompson; her father, Ronald Smith; and her mother, Rita Smith.

Visitation will be held on September 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., Syracuse, NY 13212. A burial service will be held on September 11, 2025, at Kirkville Cemetery, 8336 Pools Brook Road, Kirkville, NY 13082, beginning at 11:00 am.
