Carmen Spoto, 73, passed away on September 4, 2025. Carmen was born on August 4, 1952, to Samuel and Angela Spoto.
He, along with his siblings, grew up and enjoyed life in Syracuse. Carmen graduated from Henninger High School and then began his various work careers throughout the city.
Carmen enjoyed working at Wegmans, Salt City Taxi, and Upstate Community Hospital.
In his spare time, he enjoyed video games, riding his motorcycles, and being on his boat fishing with his family and friends.
Carmen's health had deteriorated in recent years, greatly limiting the time he could spend doing the things he loved. When he could, he took time to enjoy life and create memories with his family and friends. Carmen's health took a toll on his body, but now he is at peace and free.
His parents predecease Carmen.
He leaves to carry on his memories with his daughter, Nicole, and her husband, Michael Spak, as well as his grandchildren, Ethan and Ava Spak. His brother Robert, his wife Mary, and his sister Linda.
