Carol Carney

Carol Carney, 77, of Syracuse, passed away January 21, 2026. 

Carol was born in Syracuse, New York on February 14, 1948 to the late John and Anne Carney. 

She was a childcare provider for many years. She loved playing slots at the casino, and was known for making trays of Christmas cookies every year. She always remembered everyone with a card. 

She was predeceased by her parents; and her partner, Maryann Bergamo. She is survived by her sister, Barb (Bill) Harmon; nieces, Kelly (Tim) Harris, Erin (Sara Love) Harmon; great niece and nephew, Anna and Timothy Harris; special friends, Andrea, Maryanne, Barbara, Anne, and Tommy; and several cousins and friends.
