Carol Ellen Mosher Hodge, 86, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2025, at the home of her daughter. Born on February 3, 1939, in Syracuse, Carol lived a vibrant life filled with creativity, love, and family bonds that will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know her.
For five years, Carol dedicated her skills and passion to the Hallmark Store in Camillus, where she brought joy and warmth to customers through her work. Her artistic spirit flourished in her hobbies, which included painting and gardening; she found great pleasure in decorating and creating beautiful spaces that reflected her unique personality.
Carol's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lorrie (David) Terrill and Christine (Jeffrey) Brown, and her sons, Robert Mosher and Peter (Amber) Mosher. Carol will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Jason Terrill, Greg Terrill, Amy Auringer, Jessica D'Anna, Jordon Brown, Micaela Ludwig, Jackson Mosher, Samuel Mosher, Mason Mosher, and Eden Mosher; as well as her great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her days.
Carol was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis D. Mosher and Ronald G. Hodge, her sister Arlene Heuslein, and her brother Donald Miner. Their memories will live on in the hearts of her family, a testament to the rich legacy of love and caring that Carol created throughout her life.
Her gentle spirit and indomitable strength touched all who knew her, and she will be remembered fondly for the beauty she brought into the world and the love she shared with her family. Carol’s life serves as a reminder of the importance of family connections and the joy found in nurturing and cherishing those we hold dear.
Calling hours are Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 10-12pm with a service to follow at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY. Interment to follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
