Caroline A. "Billie" Mondo, 86 of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on September 28, 1925 in Syracuse daughter of Joseph and Josephine Raymond. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and volunteered at Meals on Wheels.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew F. Mondo, Jr. and her son Robin Mondo.
Surviving are her son, Andrew (Jeannette) Mondo, III, daughter, Dominique (Robert) Racona, 2 grandchildren, Alicia (Peter) Wiezalis, Andrew J. (Cheryl) Mondo, 4 great grandchildren; Ashley & Amanda Wiezalis, Andrew & Melissa Mondo, sister, Geraldine Wood, along with several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to American Diabetes Association, 6390 Fly Rd., E. Syracuse, NY A13057.
