Catherine "Cathy" F. Simoneau, 57, of Mattydale, passed away August 23, 2026. Catherine was born in Miami, Florida, on February 3, 1969, to John and Sharon Konetzki.

Cathy retired from Walgreens after 25 years as a store manager. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren and her family. 

She loved watching her TV shows. Cathy had a beautiful soul with an infectious smile and a laugh that would light up any room she walked into. 

She was preceded in death by her father, John Konetzki, and granddaughter, Serafina Bratt. 

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, John M. Wentworth; two sons, Christopher (Serenity) Freeman and Joel (Becky) Wentworth; daughter, Kayleigh (TJ) Bratt; grandson, Serjio Bratt; two granddaughters, Bonnie Freeman and Mihya Bratt; sister, Michele Underwood; mother, Sharon Konetzki; and several other brothers & sisters. Three dogs, Rufus, Abbie, and Essie; a cat, Em. 

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.
