Catherine "Cathy" Meyhoefer-Ilacqua

Catherine M. Meyhoefer-Ilacqua, 57, of Oneida, passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Crouse Hospital. Catherine was born in Brooklyn on July 15, 1967 daughter of the late Richard and Ann Meyhoefer. Cathy was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt and nana. She was kind compassionate loving and was always helping others. She recently started her own flower business and was amazing at making any kind of arrangement that was ordered. Her love and passion was one of a kind. She always put others before herself. One of her favorite sayings was “You know what I mean.” Heaven has gained an amazing angel who will be truly missed by everyone. One of Cathy's favorite places to be was the ocean. Where she felt peace and comfort.

She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Ilacqua, Jr., son, Tony Bristol, daughter-in-law Carmen Panzardi, son Daniel Marcinkowski, daughter-in-law, Cassandra Howington, her 2 dogs, Bullwinkle, Rocky Balboa, her cat, Sammy, 2 grandchildren, Angelo Bristol, Nora Marcinkowski, 2 sisters, Linda Kimpland, Cindy Lannie, 2 brothers, Joseph (Carrie) Meyhoefer, Richard J. Meyhoefer, Jr., her brothers-in-law, Tony Ilacqua, Mark Ilacqua, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Andrea Scott and her niece Annmarie Lannie.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 12, 2025 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament, James Street in Syracuse, Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
