Charles E. Bradbury, a devoted family man and esteemed member of the community, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 85 in his hometown of Syracuse, NY. Born on December 26, 1939, Charles was a lifelong resident of Syracuse, where he nurtured both his family and a successful career.
Charles dedicated an impressive 50 years to his role as a Route Salesman at Stanton Automatics in Auburn, where he was known for his commitment and reliability. His career was marked by dedication, and he built lasting relationships with those he encountered in both the workplace and his day-to-day. Many would say he was quite the storyteller, further engaging in the relationships he built.
A man of many interests, Charles was passionate about the outdoors. He enjoyed spending summers in Sandy Pond, with his family. In addition, he was an avid participant in various pitch leagues and fan of the Boston Red Sox. His commitment to community extended further as he took on the role of a Cub Scout leader and Little League coach for many years.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Sandra (Ed Claffey) Bradbury; two sons, Jeffrey Bradbury and Gregory (Kelly Brady) Bradbury; his grandchildren, Samantha Claffey, Megan Testa, Elvis Bradbury and Leland Bradbury; great-grandchild, Jordan Bradbury; brother, Paul (Beth) Bradbury; along with a niece and nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Bradbury and his brother, Gene Bradbury.
In keeping with Charles wishes, there will be no services.
Donations may be made in his memory to the Liverpool Library.
His legacy will continue on through the lives he touched, both personally and professionally. His kind spirit, dedication to family, and commitment to community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
